The Scandinavian Psychoanalytic Review is published under the auspices of the psychoanalytic societies in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, component societies of the International Psychoanalytical Association. The principal aim of The Scandinavian Psychoanalytic Review is to reflect the development of psychoanalysis in Scandinavia and internationally. The Review is published in English. The main section comprises original papers. Texts submitted to this section are peer reviewed on an anonymous basis. Under the heading "Brief Communications", comments to earlier published material, summaries of discussions, letters to the editor, plus a yearly report on the scientific activities of the Scandinavian Psychoanalytic Societies, are presented. The journal also includes reviews of books in psychoanalysis and related fields.
