About University Press of Southern Denmark


University Press of Southern Denmark is Denmark`s largest university press and was founded around the same time as the university itself in 1966. I accordance with its remit, the press publishes books from the world of science in the broadest sense of the word. Among its authors, University Press of Southern Denmark can count academics from the University of Southern Denmark and from the country's other centres of higher education, as well as individuals, publishing societies, associations etc. University Press of Southern Denmark also publishes a wide range of textbooks and teaching materials, as well as periodicals.

A prime consideration in our day-to-day work is to transmit our authors' output to the widest possible audience. Since its inception, University Press of Southern Denmark has published more than 2,200 titles. All our publications currently in print can be found here on our web-site.


Organization

University Press of Southern Denmark is a privately-owned institution with a capital value of 300,000 DKK. It has a board of directors comprising 6 members:
